Dear Members of the Pelican Valley ACC,

“THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL BE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO BEAR FRUIT”

Autumn is a season of change—transitioning from summer to winter—a time when nature dons vibrant colors and the harvest takes place. Nature encourages us on our spiritual journey and in our relationships with God and our neighbors to share the fruits of our talents, time, and treasure.

Let us embrace the challenges of change and prepare to be creative as we continue building the Kingdom of God within our ACC. After gathering your input on a new name for the parish, the ACC Parish Council is working diligently to submit the most popular choices—along with their supporting rationales—to Bishop Patrick Neary.

I am grateful for your prayers and support regarding the visa process, which has been approved; I must now travel to Lima to collect the visa. My trip to Peru (October 7 – December 7) will be an opportunity to visit family, assist my mother with her health needs, and attend Pope Leo’s visit to Peru (November 11–16). I will return to celebrate my 30th anniversary of priesthood with the ACC on December 8th, followed by the Our Lady of Guadalupe Festival on the 12th. During my absence, Father Alan will be assisted by retired priests as well as Deacons Dean, Chuck, Joe, and Mario. Let us continue to bear fruit for the glory of God!
