Emergency Assistance

Emergency Assistance Ministry

Catholic communities have long shared resources in service to those in need, and Our Lady of Victory continues this charitable ministry in faithful continuity with that tradition. This confidential program provides assistance, as resources allow, for needs including food, rent, utilities, fuel, furniture, and related essentials.

In addition, individuals may be referred to appropriate community support services, including Social Services, the Food Shelf, the Salvation Army, and Mahube-OTWA, to ensure access to available local assistance.

To apply for assistance:
  1. Fill out the form below.
  2. Click on Submit or drop off at or mail to the Our Lady of Victory Church Office.
  3. We will meet on Tuesday morning to process your request. Expect a call Tuesday or Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  4. If you have a serious emergency and are in need of assistance sooner, please call the Parish Office at 218-736-2429 during office hours.
  5. If your request is approved, stop back at the office to receive your assistance, or we can mail it out for you.
