Emergency Asssistance Ministry

Catholic communities have shared resources to those in need for thousands of years, and Our Lady of Victory continues this compassionate ministry. This confidential ministry addresses requests for assistance with food, rent, gas, utilities, furniture, etc., and offers assistance as best as the parish community can. To meet their needs, this ministry will also share inormation with the individual regarding Social Servies, Slavation Army, MAHABE, and Ruby's Pantry—just to name a few local resources.

To apply for assistance:

1. Print off and fill out the form below
2. Drop it off at or mail it to the Our Lady of Victory Church Office
3. We will meet on Tuesday morning to process your request. Expect a call Tuesday or Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
4. If you have a serious emergency and are in need of assistance sooner, please call the Parish Office at 218-736-2429 during office hours.
5. If your request is approved, stop back at the office to receive your assistance, or we can mail it out for you.

Salvation Army - provides a variatey of servies, including food pantry, clothes, gas, and ministry

Food Shelf - provides an emergency food supply for people in the Fergus Falls area

Ruby's Pantry - a faith-based organization that provides food to those in need

Greater Minnesota - offers mental health and housing support

Freedom Resource Center - empowers those with disabilities to live independently

MAHABE-OTWA - helps with rent and electricty assistance, and can support parents with young children

Habitat for Humanity - dedicated to building homes, communities, and hope

Social Services - has links to various local service organizations
